Accommodations & Family Vacations at the Rosentalerhof

Your restful sleep is very important to us, which is why our rooms and apartments are equipped with high-quality mattresses (Elastica pocket-spring mattresses) and beds. Modern bathrooms, stylish design elements, flat-screen TVs, and high-speed internet ensure an alpine living experience in a modern alpine style. The balcony offers an unobstructed view of the Glemmtal mountains. A hair dryer, makeup mirror, in-room safe, and refrigerator are also provided. The entire hotel is equipped with excellent high-speed Wi-Fi.

Yes. Our Alpine family room offers about 40 m² of space for three to four people. Parents and children each have their own sleeping area, so everyone has a little space to themselves on vacation.

A real plus are the two bathrooms, each with its own shower and toilet. That makes a big difference, especially in the morning when everyone rushes into the bathroom at the same time. Two balconies, high-quality beds, a mini-fridge, and free high-speed Wi-Fi are also included. If you need even more space and your own kitchen, it’s worth taking a look at our spacious apartments.

And, of course, the Berg.Spa with its heated outdoor pool is just as much a part of your vacation as our indoor kids’ paradise.

The Rosentalerhof features a modern playroom with a toddler corner equipped with LEGO bricks, a play structure with a crawl tunnel and slide, as well as various motor skills and wall games. Older children can climb the climbing wall or compete in exciting Clip-Clap hockey matches. The indoor children’s paradise is located in a separate room next to the restaurant.

Right next to the hotel is the Montelinos Adventure Alm and the adventure golf course. While the kids run around on the slide tower, swings, and water play areas, you can relax on the sun terrace —with an unobstructed view of the mountains.

Breakfast and Dining at the Rosentalerhof

Yes, our breakfast buffet is included for hotel guests. Guests staying in the apartments are also welcome to enjoy our breakfast buffet. This can be booked as an add-on, subject to availability and for an additional fee. Please feel free to ask at our front desk.

We offer our guests a varied breakfast buffet. We place particular emphasis on our cereal corner with a large selection of different products and porridges. Bread, fruit and hot desserts change daily. Sausage, regional cheese and freshly made egg dishes with regional eggs are available directly from the buffet.

Yes. If you’d rather relax after a day of skiing instead of worrying about dinner, you can book half-board during the winter, subject to availability.

And the enjoyment begins first thing in the morning. Our breakfast buffet is truly close to our hearts. The cereal corner is one of its highlights, complemented by fresh bread that changes daily, ham, cheese, a variety of egg dishes, fruit, and porridge. Here, you’re welcome to take a little extra time with your first cup of coffee before heading out onto the slopes.

Yes, we serve hot meals at our summer bistro from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can look forward to light summer fare, Austrian classics, vegetarian dishes, and pinsa.

Especially pleasant after a long day of hiking or biking: Take a quick swim in the outdoor pool, maybe order a drink, and then enjoy a leisurely meal at the summer bistro.

Our summer bistro is closed two days a week.

Berg.Spa & Wellness at the Rosentalerhof

Berg.Spa’s hours of operation vary depending on the season and weather:
In winter, the outdoor pool is open from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Finnish Panorama Sauna and the saltwater steam room are heated from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM in winter. The bio sauna is open from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
In the summer, the pool is open all day until 9:00 p.m. The Panorama Sauna and the saltwater steam bath open at 4:00 p.m., or as early as 1:00 p.m. in case of inclement weather. They remain open until 8:30 p.m.

Yes, in addition to retreats for adults, we also have areas where families can spend time relaxing. Children are very welcome here.

Our outdoor pool is heated year-round. In winter, the water temperature is a comfortable 32°C. In summer, we heat the water to 27°C, and on cold, rainy days, we raise the temperature to 30°C.

Location & Hotel Services at the Rosentalerhof

In just 3–5 minutes (300 meters), you’ll reach the Hinterglemmer pedestrian zone on foot.

Yes, and that’s one of the great advantages of our location. The Rosentalerhof is located right in the heart of Saalbach Hinterglemm, very close to the town center, yet with an unobstructed view of the mountains. In winter, it’s only about 80 meters to the Bergfried Lift and about 300 meters to the Reiterkogelbahn. The ski bus stops right at the hotel.

You can leave your car behind even in the summer. The Reiterkogelbahn is within easy walking distance, and many hikes and excursions start practically right outside the hotel door. With our JOKER CARD (included with every summer stay), you can use the summer mountain railways, the hiking bus in Saalbach Hinterglemm, and public transportation in the Pinzgau region for free.

If you are traveling by car: One parking space is available per room or apartment right at the Rosentalerhof. Additional free parking spaces are available within easy walking distance (approx. 250 m).

One free parking space is available per hotel room or apartment right next to the hotel; our small underground parking garage can be used for an additional fee. We can also accommodate additional cars free of charge at a location 250 meters away.

At the Saalbach Hinterglemm Ski Circus, you can get to the slopes in no time from the Rosentalerhof: The Bergfried Lift is just 80 meters away, and the Reiterkogelbahn is 300 meters away. The ski bus stops right at the hotel and runs frequently to take you to other major lifts. The town center, with its pedestrian zone, is also just 300 meters away. And best of all: unobstructed mountain views of the Hinterglemm mountain range.

Yes, you can purchase ski passes directly at the hotel front desk. This saves you from having to wait in long lines at the ski lift.
As an added service, we offer our guests an overnight waxing service. Simply drop off your skis at the front desk and pick them up the next morning, freshly waxed. A perfect carving turn makes for an even better start to the day.
